ACT Minister Joy Burch again led a small team of Labor activists who participated in the ACT Vinnie’s CEO sleepout at the Australian Museum in Acton last night. Around 150 local community representatives helped raise a record amount of money to assist with local projects for homeless people and their families. Also participating in this important community fundraising effort this year were Senator Kate Lundy, Senate candidate David Mathews, Well-known writer and housing campaigner Professor Stephen Bartos, and Branch Secretary Elias Hallaj.
