I recently announced a registration of interest process inviting the property industry to register their interest to build and own the proposed government office building in Gungahlin.
The Government has engaged Cox Architects to progress work on the new office building in Gungahlin. They will identify:
- a suitable site in Gungahlin for a 7,000 m2 office building and associated parking – either government or privately owned;
- the most appropriate procurement process to ensure the best outcome for the territory but ensuring those who have purchased commercial land in Gungahlin are not disadvantaged;
- which government staff would be the most appropriate tenants for the building;
- and the requirements for the building in terms of base building and fitout the most appropriate tenants for the building.
