Chief Minister, Katy Gallagher MLA, joined local Park Care group Friends of Mount Majura (FoMM) and volunteers on Sunday 31 July to plant around 360 native trees and shrubs as part of National Tree Day.
The Chief Minister planted the first native tree on the day as part of the planting demonstration for volunteers. The focus of National Tree Day on Mount Majura is to plant shrubs, ground cover plants and trees in remnant box gum grassy woodland.
