One of the key recommendations from the ACT Branch Campaign Review was the inception of a new, longer, intensive campaign training program for activists committed to working full-time on future election campaigns. If you have already attended a one-day Campaign Insight training session, have helped in recent election campaigns and intend to commit yourself to future Labor campaigns, you should consider applying to attend our ACT Campaign Insight Program. This 10-module program is modeled on the National Campaign Insight Program which started in January 2009 and will aim to train Party members in preparation for the upcoming ACT Assembly campaign. The training is designed to provide the skills required to be a local campaign director. So if you are a seasoned campaigner or want to play a big role in future campaigns, we guarantee that as long as you are committed to upcoming Labor campaigns you will learn a great deal. Places for this first course will be limited to 20 and a selection panel will assess applications from prospective participants. The course will start in February 2011. Requirements Training will be undertaken over 10 Wednesday evening sessions of 3 hours each, and 4 half-day weekend practical sessions over 12 weeks.
