Those of you who may be familiar with the previous site will notice a change in design, colours, images and newsfeeds from the national ALP website as well as the ACT Labor Government. These feeds ensure that the latest statements made by Labor’s Federal and ACT representatives are available on this website as well.

We’ve also added links to Twitter and Facebook so that those of you who use those new social networking tools can utilise them to keep up to date about local Labor’s community and party activities. You can start joining in our conversations on Twitter by following our local Ministers. Their profiles are @KatyGMLA, @ABarrMLA, @SimonCorbell and @JoyBurchMLA, and the official ACT Labor Twitter profile is @Canberra_Labor.

Down the track we will be adding more functionality to the new website, including the ability of members of the Labor Party to log in and to write blogs and start discussions about different areas of policy and community activities.
